Classes started this Tuesday. We met our new advisor and man was it scary. He looked so strict. We had our orientation in the morning then had the regular schedule in the afternoon meeting our subject teachers. The new teachers were pretty scary, honestly they really were. There were a lot of unexpected things like memorizing on the first day of classes. The moment I got home and got changed and I immediately went to my bed and slept. The next day I woke up and I wasn't feeling that well. I felt like I was going to barf but when I go to the bathroom nothing happens plus I lose my appetite. I was told that it was stress. Pretty unusual, huh? Being stressed out already after the first day of classes. I wasn't alone. Some of my classmates were going through the same thing.
We got to know our new teachers better and we were able to meet our other subject teachers. It was ok but then we were given tons of homework.
Yesterday was nice. We laughed a lot. The new teachers were fine and we started to like them(some of us at least). But again, homework. Tons and tons of homework. We had to do so much plus memorize the History of Trigonometry that our teacher discussed. It was tough and we did memorize it only to find out today that the recitation was moved.-sigh- Up to now we still have homework. The thing that was nice about today was that our Social Studies teacher didn't discuss any lesson today, only a quiz about countries and it's capitals in Europe and South America plus current events and our lessons last school year(yes, last school year). After the quiz we just sat there and talked. We also had fre time in our last subject and just took home the questions we were supposed to answer as homework. This week has been nothing but work. Not a single day was given to us to rest. I never thought being in 3rd year highschool was this tough. I'll need a lot of time to adjust. But then even though this week was tough and tiring, it was ok since we still had time to laugh.
